Responsibilities:
- Assist with all aspects of finance and accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Compile monthly financial statements and prepare the monthly financial package for management.
- Assist with cash forecasting and monitoring to ensure working capital needs are met.
- Maintain a chart of accounts.
- Assist with project budgeting.
- Prepare grant reporting and filings.
- Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.
- Explore new avenues to increase the overall turnover profitability of the organization.
- Prepare feasibilities for new projects and ventures.
- Review company’s External Investment and calculate ROI/ROIC
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts, and profitability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance/Accounting Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial processes, and accounting principles.
- Proficient in accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
