As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines that collect, process, and manage large data sets. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that data is accurate, reliable, and accessible. The ideal candidate will have experience with data warehousing, ETL development, and data modeling, and be proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala, etc.) and SQL. Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that collect, process, and manage large data sets.
- Develop ETL processes that ensure data is accurate, reliable, and accessible.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that data is meeting business requirements.
- Develop and maintain data models that support business needs.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in data engineering or related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala, etc.) and SQL
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL development, and data modeling
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
